VR Guangdong | Thrilling Encounters with Charming Island Scenery and Splendid Intangible Cultural Heritages in Shantou
On June 27, Southern Finance Omnimedia Corp. GBA MIC Lab and 21st Century Business Herald App launched VR Guangdong, a 4K VR 360° panoramic city culture exploring short film series that observes Guangdong Province from a brand new angle and displays the charm of the city in a highly immersive way.
The first episode of the series named VR Guangdong | Thrilling Encounters with Charming Island Scenery and Splendid Intangible Culture Heritage in Shantou presents you an immersive tour around Shantou to appreciate the beautiful scenery and the profound history of the Century-old Commercial Port through VR and AR technologies. You are able to wander around Shantou Small Park and feel the vibes of the time-honored city in arcade buildings, or follow the moves of Yingge Dance performers to experience the fresh vitality of this popular intangible cultural heritage item, You can also go on a cruise to Nan"ao Island and relish the stunning seascape of the major transit point for maritime trade.
